Beneath The Clouds

We went for an adventure on the first week of May this 2023. It was a very hot day in Lobo, Batangas. We were ready for the beach-vibes kind of shoot; the white sand, glimmering sea, the breathtaking view. If there's one thing we've learned, it's that things never go according to plan. All of the beaches were full of people. No cottages were available for rent. We were desperate. We drove 4 hours just to see beaches upon beaches full of people.

We found a place that's not too crowded, a far bit off from the prime beach places. We were greeted not with sand, but with rocks.

I wasn't feeling the beach vibe either. I thought this would be a lost cause for a shoot.

But then, I had an idea. If I can't take photos of the beach, and I couldn't take much photos of the sea, then what else was left?

There was the sky.

There's a serene feeling. A cool breeze, gentle sunlight, a silent afternoon. None of that was what actually happened that day, but I was absolutely satisfied with the results that came out.

Going home, we got to saw that new Ilijan Power Plant at night. Couldn't take nice pictures since my phone was terrible at low light photography.
